Stellar Brief: 22. 10. 2026
A young, planet-hosting star called V1298 Tauri is showing how fiercely active infant planetary systems can be: radio emissions appeared in 90 percent of monitoring visits, while its X-ray brightness also changed and showed a stellar flare.

Estrellas | ExoplaneIt is a hot planet, bigger than Neptune with one of the highest luminosities in extreme ultraviolet for planets of this size. TOI-3568 b is 50% heavier than Neptune and its radius is 40% bigger. With an orbit lasting 4.4 days, it sits just outside the Neptunian desert, where the star evaporates the atmospheres of planets smaller than Jupiter and where only a few planets of this size have been found....
