Astronomers using the Chandra X-ray Observatory have achieved a scientific first by resolving the 'astrosphere'—a protective bubble created by stellar winds—around a young, Sun-like star named HD 61005. Located about 119 light-years away, this star is a much more active version of our own Sun as it appeared in its youth.
