Vznik planet

Planety vznikají z prachu a plynu rotujícího kolem mladé hvězdy v disku.

Image: Molecular emission in the disk around DM Tauri reveals complex chemical processes
Planets emerge from the dense, flat regions of gas and dust known as protoplanetary disks that surround young stars. By investigating the chemical conditions in the disk around DM Tauri, researchers can better understand the environment that influences planetary evolution. This study focuses on the distribution of two specific molecular ions, N2H+ and DCO+, which serve as chemical markers for the conditions found in these distant rotating disks. To map these molecules, the team used the Ataca...

Image: Narrow ring of gas found near the young star HD 152384
A narrow ring of gas has been characterized around the young star HD 152384. Located at the dust sublimation radius, the ring likely formed from the collisions of rocky planetesimals, offering a new look at early planetary system evolution....

Image: High resolution imaging reveals double-peaked dust structure in the TW Hydrae disk
New observations of the TW Hydrae protoplanetary disk reveal a dust structure at 52 astronomical units that features a double-peaked shape. The dust moves according to local orbital rules, and the lack of gas signatures suggests no massive planet is present....

Image: Scattered light imaging reveals properties of the cat
Beta Pictoris shows its Cat's Tail in new visible light observations. The dust structure, likely formed by a collision between two objects as massive as Charon, contains highly porous organic material. Warping in the outer halo suggests ongoing planetary interaction....
