Nearby star LP 816-60 is a main sequence star that fuses hydrogen atoms into helium. It is approximately 20 % of the size of Sun and temperature on its surface is around 3239 K (2966 °C), which is about 56 % of Sun's temperature.
       LP 816-60 can be found in southern celestial hemisphere, however it is too dim to be seen with the naked eye or even a small telescope.
