Nearby star Gliese 479 is a main sequence star that fuses hydrogen atoms into helium. It is is is much smaller than the Sun and temperature on its surface is around 3491 K (3218 °C), which is about 60 % of Sun's temperature.
       Gliese 479 can be found in southern celestial hemisphere, you cannot see it with naked eye, but you can observe this star with basic telescope.
