Nearby star Gliese 3517 is a main sequence star that fuses hydrogen atoms into helium. It is approximately 10 % of the size of Sun and temperature on its surface is around 3533 K (3260 °C), which is about 61 % of Sun's temperature.
       Gliese 3517 can be found in southern celestial hemisphere, however it is too dim to be seen with the naked eye or even a small telescope.
