Nearby star 61 Virginis is a main sequence star that fuses hydrogen atoms into helium. It is approximately 100 % of the size of Sun and temperature on its surface is around 5585 K (5312 °C), which is about 97 % of Sun's temperature.
       61 Virginis can be found in southern celestial hemisphere, and it is possible to see it with naked eye. The star is also observable from Northern America, Europe and Asia.
